Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project licenses are issued for a limited period. Before a license expires, you will automatically receive a notification email from the TU Delft Authorization Portal informing you of the upcoming expiration date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The email will include details such as the licensed product and the date on which the current authorization will expire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note:<\/strong> extending Visio and Project licenses through the Authorization Portal is a new way of working. We are currently improving the notification emails to provide clearer instructions and direct links to the correct portal pages.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

How to Extend Your License<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you still require the license, you can submit an extension request through the Authorization Portal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorization Portal:<\/strong>

  1. Sign in to the Authorization Portal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Locate the license request that is about to expire.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select Submit Again<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \n

    Known issue:<\/strong> the Renew<\/strong> option is currently not functioning as intended. Please use Submit Again<\/strong> to extend your license request.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    1. Enter the reason for your request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Select the period for which you require the license (up to a maximum of 365 days).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Submit the request.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      What Happens Next?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Once submitted, your request will follow the normal approval process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • You will receive an email notification when your request has been approved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • The approved authorization period will be reflected in your updated request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Your license will remain available for the newly approved authorization period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Automatic Reminder Emails<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Before your license expires, you will receive an email similar to the example below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The validity of the request below will expire on [date].
        Product: M365 Visio\/Project License
        You can renew this request in the TU Delft Authorization Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        To avoid interruptions, please keep an eye on these notifications and extend your license in time if you still need access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
