Are you using a managed Windows 10 or 11 laptop or PC? Then you must install a mandatory Windows update Wednesday, May 14 or sooner. If you don’t, you will lose access to the TU Delft network (EduVPN, Eduroam, Dastud) starting Thursday, May 15.

Steps to update on Windows 10:

  1. Connect your device to the TU Delft network (via tudelft-dastud or EduVPN)
  2. The update will start automatically — stay connected (up to 90 minutes)
  3. Speed up the update? (recommended)
    • Open the search bar → type CMD → open Command Prompt
    • Enter: gpupdate /force

Using Windows 11? You can speed up the update like this:

  1. Open the TU Delft Company Portal (find it via the search bar or Windows menu)
  2. Go to ‘Settings’ at the bottom left
  3. Click on ‘Synchronisation’

The update will be completed within 10 minutes. You will then see the message:
‘Last sync <DATE> was successful’

No access after May 14? Use another network (home Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot) and email: ict-servicedesk@tudelft.nl
